London Feeding Therapy provides independent feeding therapy services to families and professionals in London, and remote feeding therapy services worldwide.

London Feeding Therapy was established in 2017, to provide individualised support for children, families and clinicians, while breaking down the main barriers to feeding therapy, accessibility and availability.

Katie Philcox (Founder) is a psychology graduate, with a masters degree in behavioural science. Since beginning her career in child mental health and neurodiversity in 2007, Katie has supported families across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Her work has ranged from opening a new campus of a school supporting neurodivergent children in Shanghai, China, to leading a multidisciplinary team at a center in Jeddah, KSA. She has also played a key role in developing feeding clinics in Dubai, Qatar, Shanghai, and KSA.

Katie trained in the ‘Sequential Oral Sensory’ (SOS) approach to assessing and treating feeding difficulties, developed by Dr. Kay Toomey and Dr. Erin Ross. The SOS approach is a play-based program that systematically addresses both sensory processing and oral motor skills to help children expand their diet and develop positive eating behaviors.

Feeding support with London Feeding Therapy focuses on making food exploration comfortable and enjoyable, gradually increasing food acceptance. We work closely with families to understand the relationship between the environment and eating behaviors, identifying what is working well and areas for improvement to create meaningful and lasting change.
