  • Support with developing a new feeding programme
  • Troubleshooting an existing programme

How does London Feeding Therapy work with the family and the therapist?

The professional (i.e. therapist) will need to obtain written consent from the family to discuss individual feeding problems.

General strategies for setting up mealtime routines and increasing positive eating behaviours may be provided as continuing professional development.

 

Can you provide in person support?

In general, support is provided online. On occasion, a video conference during your session with the family may be helpful. Please contact us to discuss further.

Who pays for the specialist support?

Funding may come from:

  • professional development fund
  • supervision fund
  • local authority – if feeding is detailed in EHCP funding
  • private healthcare insurance from the family
